Property Masters Operation Changes because of the Coronavirus

Dear Board Members & Clayton Residents,

As we are all navigating the uncharted waters with COVID-19 (coronavirus), we want you to feel confident that we at Property Masters are ready and prepared to support you and your residents through these challenging times. The health and well-being of our employees, customers, partners, and communities is our top priority. We have taken the steps outlined below to ensure safety as well as seamless business operations.

Business continuity for partners, clients, and residents
We recently revisited, strengthened our Business Continuity plan. Some specific actions included:

  • All employees have the technology and tools necessary to complete their work duties from outside of the office if that need arises.
  • Should working remotely become necessary to secure the safety of our employees, we are prepared to continue to fully support our clients and residents.
  • For at least the next several weeks our office will be closed to the public so we will no longer accept walk in payments to our office.  The number of owners that do this are relatively few but we do have communities with monthly fees and homeowners who do bring their payments to our office.  These people will be asked to pay online or use the postal service to make their payments to the bank lockbox in Las Vegas  ACC forms can be mailed or emailed to us.
  • Our staff will not attend any meetings until it is safe to be in close proximity to people which will be determined by health officials.  We will send all information by email as necessary.  If your community signs their own checks we will provide them by dropping them off to a board member and will be happy to pick them up once signed.
  • Monthly deed restriction drives will continue unless we are directed by the Board otherwise.  We want to be sensitive to peoples economic situation and asking someone to paint or repair rotted wood may not be the thing to do until this situation passes.  Requesting someone to mow or edge their grass is not a difficult request as this can be done without endangering anyone however there may be owners that can’t physically do yard work themselves and don’t have the funds to pay a service.  Please let us know how you want us to handle these situations.
  • We will continue to monitor this evolving situation and will revise our plans as needed.

We hope and pray that everyone will remain healthy throughout this period of time. Please feel free to contact any one of us should you have any questions.

Regards,

 Jodi Rohrer
