Texas Aquatic Enterprises, our new pool management company, brings exciting new changes in our safety policies at the pool.
All kids will be issued a wrist band upon entry.
- Green wrist bands mean they are free to swim as long as they obey the general pool rules.
- Red wrist bands mean the child is a non-swimmer and must wear a Coast Guard-approved life jacket at all times while inside the fenced area surrounding the pool.
- Life jackets are provided by the pool company and must be returned when exiting the gate.
- Children 48 inches and under must pass a swim test in order to receive a green wrist band. Once they pass the test, their name is recorded in the Child Safety Log.
- Any time a life guard deems it necessary, they may ask a child to perform another swim test.
- Parents/guardians of non-swimmers may choose not to use the life jacket; however, the parent/guardian must sign a liability waiver and the child must remain within arm’s reach of their parents at all times.
