Clayton would like to recognize those in our community who are helping us make a difference. By working together, we are making our community a better place to live, work and shop!

The Connecting Clayton’s Community Project was created to develop activities that supported addressing the community disconnectedness. The goal was to develop opportunities for families and community members to work together and enhance the community. The objective of the project was to participate in family friendly community events, which included Clayton’s Community Challenges and Clayton’s Community Showcase.

Our projected created an opportunity to participate in 5 collaborative events, which allowed us to bring community members together and celebrate both National Nights Out. Our first community challenge created an opportunity to revitalize our community park. Clayton’s residents, West Oaks Nursing and Rehabilitation Residents, Mission Bend United Methodist church members, Golden Corral staff and customers had an opportunity to meet and greet each other, participated in fundraising activities while working together and playing family games. We also showcased community members who were doing absolutely amazing things within their organization and community.

We are planning to continue working collaboratively to support various projects. Clayton HOA will host a Christmas Event and support Mission Bend United Methodist Holiday event in December.
